I was just wondering if i can put a H22A IN THIS 89 ACCORD LXI. Someone told me that all i would have to do to get it to fit would be to just change the motor mounts over to ones from the car i get the h22 out of . I also need to know if the h22 will bolt up to the tranny.

 

An H22 will not bolt up to your existing tranny. You will also need <U>custom</U> motor and tranny mounts, otherwise you will never get the motor mounted. I don't know what you will need in terms of axles with an H22 tranny though. Possibly custom as well.

 

I looked at and h22 the other night and i notice that the bellhousing is bigger on the h22 tranny.
