prolems with break lights

Default prolems with break lights

i have a 91 honda crx si. i accidentally put the wrong taillight and it melted the fuse inthe fuse box under the dash i replaced the entire fuse boxdidnt fix the prob if anyone has any i dea what this could be plreeeease tell me the only thing i dont understand is that the tail lights still work with head lights i have checked the brake light switch and all of the fuses

I don't really understand your post, but if you're saying that your brake lights are ALWAYS on when your headlights are on, then you need to check your taillight bulbs. One of your dual filament bulbs has the filaments touching, thus causing the electrical current to go back through the circuit. Also, your instrument panel (gauge cluster) will light up when you're pressing the brakes.
