Need suggestions for painting side view mirror...
I've seen a lot of older hondas especially EGs with paint chipping off the side view mirror plate. I'm not sure what material they used to make these plates, it kinda feels like a mix between ceramic and bone.
Has anyone re-painted theirs? If you have tell me how you went about it.

Should I sand it down till the whole thing looks like bone, and then go over it with primer and finish it off with black trim paint?

how did you seperate that without breaking it..you know how many times I found my mirror broken walking to my car...anyway I would try some light puppy and then sand it then spray again..

Just remove the 3 screws on the bottom. What the heck is "light puppy"?
