I found out when I tried to put my 91 si seats in my 88 crx that the brackets are different. Unfortunately I threw away the old seats/sliders already. Will 88 Civic brackets work in the crx and will the work on the 91 seats? It's a lot easier to find an 88 civic then crx

thats not a problem, im just trying to find out if i can use anything other then 88 crx ones, cause they are hard to find

 

swapping out the pans wont work. i tried to do that fro my crx and put some civic si seats. they dont fit because where the lumbar support on the crx seat has the bolt that connects to it on the outside parts of the seats on both sides. while the civic has one on the outside and the adjuster is located more inward about 1/4 way in. if u need some pans n sliders lmk i had just picked up some seats and installed them on my crx earlier today. i had 2 psgr seats and 1 messed up driver seat. i used one psgr seat and covnerted the other psgr seat into a driver seat so i have some left over parts LMK

 

is it possible to use the CRX seat into my Civic?
will it have the same problem?

i did that and works fine...
89 crx seats , then i found some SI 91 seats in great shape,
used the 89 pans on the 91 seats...flawless!

 

Well all i know is that i have a 88 crx and i bought some 91 si seats from a crx, i just swapped the pans and everything bolted up correctly, if u know how to pan swap u can almost make anything fit, well goodluck on the swap
