i put a new dif in the trans and now 1 stand 2nd gear wont go in to them any suggestons

 

does it go in any other gears? when its the car is off? or when its running? if it does not go in when its running then your clutch is not desengaging all the way and your synchronizers are doing thair job. need more info.

 

if you had the tranny apart you most likely put the change selector in wrong. The 1-2 fork is most likely not sitting in it properly so when you try to put it in 1 or 2 it doesnt move the fork, just take it back apart and assemble it correctly
