Radio going out?
My girlfriend's Dual Headunit lately has been acting up lately, and I honestly cannot figure out what the problem is. What is happening is that we will be listening to the radio, and it will randomly just go to static on all channels. I can however switch to CD, and it will play just fine. I have reinstalled the headunit twice and still cannot figure out what is going on. Has anyone else had a problem similar to this, and if so, what did you do to fix it? Thanks
This is a "accord" forum not dual forum....
but to answer your question, go to best buy and pay them 12 dollar they are willing to fix the head unit for you.
if not then that mean they cant fix it and you have to buy a different head unit =P
plus when your buying a dual head unit always buy the protection plans due to i have heard a lot of people saying thier motor burn out *the one with flips up/down screen what ever, and cd gettign stuck in them, static too like you said etc*
that why i bought an alpine when i was looking for a headunit.

Yeah, the reason I asked here is because I really didnt know whether it was a common accord problem, as I dont really deal with accords often. And yeah, I sorta cringed when she told me she bought a "Dual" HU..
But I'll ask in the audio forum as well
, thanks for the help..
