Hey guys.. I need pics of that CRX rear lip again. I forgot which model it came off of. If I remember coreectly it was some JDM special edition model if I'm not mistaken.

I saw rear lips on other Civic's hatch 88-89, this one is the same year look the tail light. Under my CRX88 rear bumpers they are holes just for that. IT's probably very rare and JDM parts.

I wouldn't spend money for rear under bumper lips. Unlike the front lip, the rear lip can actually add windrag to the car. That will depend how how much further the bottom of the bumper is extended. Generally, the less rear bumper the better. The big vented opening on the EF Mugen rear bumper is there for a reason.

Once again NO EF-3/7/8's <U>Ever </U> came with that lower rear lip in Japan.......but that might of come from a EE from the Euro Market..

 

Thanks.. but I already know that. I dont really care much though.... its for looks. Thats the sole purpose it serves. I dont really care much about the aerodynamics of the car. Its a daily driver.. not a NASCAR qualifier...the .00040 difference in the 1320 dont mean much to me..I just want it cuz i think it looks nice.!!

 

hmmm. that wing there, does it come on anything else "jdm" cause i have one. i'm just debating whether or not to put it on, because i don't know if i like it. hahahaaa. but mine's wings west. the "M3" wing. but i like it.

as for the rear lip, i like that too. the excusive i believe was like a mix of the Si-R and the Si. i think. here's what i think it had, someone correct me:

ZC powered, so it had the ZC front end. (hood, lights)
leather seats (tan)
power steering (maybe)
power windows/locks (dunno about the locks)
leather steering wheel (also tan)
glass roof

did i get it right?

JDM_DOHC_SiR ?? Not to change the subject but my hatch was suppose to be off a JDM car. Can anyone tell me which model if it even was off a JDM Crx?/? It has rear defrost and obviously a wiper....

simple mod EASY as hell
any SI front lip slap it on called it a day cut out where the exhaust is...

 

i already did that but i want the edges to wrap around the ends of the bumper....i think it makes it a lot cleaner looking

 

yup yours is a jdm hatch, this is how you tell, it doesnt have the 3rd brake light...the wing is there for that...hey did the defrosters and the wiper hook up easily or was there moding of the wires for it to work...

 

3 months later and trhis thread is still alive....

that doesnt have the rear lip, its a j-oem bumper but...no lip...

I just took a minute to look at mine.
I saw that we do have something that I tought on the picture was the lip

But keep the guy's name.
He does have some SI-R rear bumper sometimes.

I never meet him personnaly.But he his a trusty guy since some of my friends bought him some parts and they know him.

Just take an Si front lip and mount it in the rear and cut out the part for the exhaust. someone on honda tech did it and thats what it all looks like to me.
