he works for a valet service and he said he always wanted a s2000. while he was valeting, a s2000 came up and he said he "took that thing up to 8k 1st 2nd 3rd gear"

I'm still really mad. I mean taking an S2000 up to 8K?!! FLABBERGHASTING!! I usually drive mine no higher than 2k. well....3k on sundays!! lol....yeah jk. Cmon guys. When you test drive an S2K, even if you're thinking to yourself "nah...i dont really want this one" Dont you take it up to redline thru 1st 2nd and yes...sometimes even 3RD GEAR!!!. Then someone else ends up buying it and.....:GASP:! it runs perfectly fine!! Iduno, I'm sure i'd be really pissed off if someone else did that to my car though. I'm just saying you should take it easier on the guy. Dont worry about it so much, you'll live longer. Oh well. Dont sweat it, OP. Just change your user name. Then NOBODY will know. If you're that upset about it when it's not even your car, you'd really hate to hear how the dealership employees (salesman and/or tech) drove it before you bought it (or broke it in).

He admitted to being a douche about it, everybody makes mistakes, and it's not even your car. Hell, I bet half of you have abused the hell out of a rental car. Calm down already.

i'm not upset, but if i ever see him asking for help i'll be sure to not even bother replying. it's just his entire personality to have no respect for other peoples property. reminds me of ferris buellers day off and the ******** in the parking garage.

i don't take my car to dealerships because they are a rip off for one, and two for this exact reason that people these days dont have any respect for other peoples stuff. i bought my car used, i know it was driven hard once in a while before i bought it.. but thats entirely different because it was not my property.

i worked at toyota and some dude brought in a built,turbod mr2,when i drove it back up to the lot where the finished cars go i floored that bitch..im sure that guy does it all the time and im sure the guy with the s2k redlines it...oh no

just because I redlined a s2k doesn’t mean I have a bitch *** personality and no respect the s2k is made to be redlined and im sure I didn’t hurt the guys car a bit the thing was fully warmed up and I took it in a straight line didn’t spin the tires or chirp them just went fast in a straight line to see how the car accelerates and how the vetch kicks plus when they guy gave me the keys to it he said I could take it for a short spin even though were not allowed but on the way to the underground garage I had time to hit first second and third its not like I stomped on the thing and started drifting and beating the **** out of it anyways if some of you think what I did is so disrespectful and don’t want to help me when I ask something that’s fine I guess ill try to help anyone I can with anything I can im not going to judge people by there threads and posts because I haven’t actually met them in person and don’t know what they are really like and I would change my username and just forget all this but I would rather deal with it and set things straight then just run away but thanks to the guys who are understanding me hope this explains more

when i test drove a new s2000 at the dealership the salesmen told me to get on it thru every gear, the car had 19 miles on it, i dumped the clutch at 7k in a brand new car

But there is no excuse for what you did. Just be a little more humble when the people on here vent to you on what you did.

I've given my car to valet twice and watched them park it and walk back to their post. So I know they didn't push my car.

But I did take my car to honda world in westminster for an oil change(free oil changes for the 1st 2 years) and when I got the car back it had 27 extra miles
