This problem has been going on for weeks now does anyone know what can be the cause of this? Its hard to shift into 1st 2nd and 3rd gear. The car drives fine doens't seem like its losing any power or anything like that. ANy help would be appreciated.

If you're having troubles getting into only those gears, then I suspect it is your synchros that are going/gone.

 

So a new clutch and new synchros? How much will syncros cost and are new hard to replace?

 

I'm no mechanic, but I would think old tranny fluid or bent shift linkages are possibilties that could cause some of your symptoms.
