A friend of mine has a 92 prelude si with a jdm h22 swap in it. Its having a weird issue i havent encountered before. If you rev it above 3k rpms. and then it goes below 3k to say 2500. and you give it gas it wont rev back up untill it goes all the way back to idle.
You may not get where Im comiung from so heres an example.

You slow down to take a turn you make a turn the rpms dip below 3k rpms. You hit the has and the car doesnt nothing untill it goes all the way back down to idle then bam right back up. even if you are full throttle. it will wind down to idle.


I suspect the TAS (Throttle angle sensor) some also call it a tps.

Any cels? Does it idle fine or sound like its missing?

 

No cels. Idle is dead on. No miss fires. Just cuts out from 1k-3k Above that runs great below that runs great timing is good im going to check his TPS right now. Make sure thereisnt any deadspots in it.

 

Just in case some one was actually reading. I replaced the tps sensor and is still doing the same thing.
