here you can see where each pin goes once you take the rockers out. You're gonna need a small magnet to pull the primary rocker arm(left) out.

Once they are out all you do is switch them out as pictured below. The problem is that once they are joined together the piston will only catch less than 1mm of the secondary rocker(farthest right) and will have some play which is my concern. I will probably add a small flat washer so that the pins are pushed more and get locked nice and secure

The piston on the rocker to the right is PUSHED IN by the pins. When the piston is all the way out vtec is not engaged. when you switch the pins it pushes the piston in all the time and keeps the rockers locked.

BTW: My English is fine

Coulden't you make your own pin? What about blocking the piston in the Rocker arm shafts to let in the oil, and putting in a shaft to connect all 3 rockers?

Im gonna go to a hardware store and buy some small flat washers and place them on the primary rocker so it pushes the pin more The washer will still let the oil go through

I dont know if the are availabe for H-series. I got the h22 head for $300. I cant justify spending as much for some rockers
edit: just noticed that chuck seitsinger(sp) is selling those

What would the bennifet be for the hole in the washer. You want the oil pressure to push the pin, not let oil pass. BUt then your running vtecless. So in general your just using the washers to fill that gap you were talking about.

this is how it sits with the pins switched out. It just barely sticks out.

this is how much it should move when vtec is engaged. As you can see there is a big difference.

When your at the store, check if they have any solid pipe, like dolly rods. The less parts, the less chance of something going wrong.

On the picture you just posted, How much does the pin in the right rocker stick out, to insert in the middle Rocker?

If you have access to an air compressor there is a port on the head to apply pressure and lock VTEC that way.

Yes. there is a piston in the vtec Rocker arm shafts that will let oil in when oil pressure has enough force....I think. Im just learning about how vtec really works, in a book called "high-performance Honda Builder's Handbook" volume 1 by Joe Pettit
