On the d16z6 there is a sensor on the therosat housing what is that for and what plug on my obo plugs up to it.and is there a site where it tells u step by step how to wire a d16z6?

 

the sensor on the thermostat housing is the cooling fan switch - the OBD0 fan switch is on the back of the block next to the oil filter with 2-wire connector in big round black rubber boot - you need to either install that sensor in your Z6 block or extend the wires to reach the thermostat housing and swap a different connector on that will plug into the Z6 switch
