Rear bumper Removal (searched)
So ive been looking for a gen 2 rear bumper removal howto or diagram. Ive searched team-integra/net, g2ic.com and honda-tech best I found was a lil diagram and a line of text saying remove the 8 nuts on the studs in the hatch.

you have two remove tailights and rear deck panel (the metal that goes under the tailights and has the key hole in it once you remove you will see about six phillip screws holding the bumper in from the top, the rear panel is accesible by removing trunk plactics to get to the 10mm bolts there are 8 i belive.

Yeah, it bolts right up. I have a 98 rear on my 96. For some reason the center piece was a little to low on mine, so that had to be adjusted up for the bumper to fit flush.

I JUST did this yesterday. To get to the screws on the top of the bumper, you may have to remove the tail lights and metal panel (2 nuts inside hatch, 2 outside on each end). I found on mine that there was so much rust that I could not use the philips fitting at all. I used a vice grip and cut each rubber gasket around each one first, then gripped them and twisted them off. There's one above the exhaust and one on the other side. The inner fender liner and mudflaps are screwed in on the sides. I can't remember if there are other ones in the licence plate area....there is on the front.

Hum I will take your word for it
haha it was 6 years ago about when I took my DA bumper off, I cant remember that far back.
*Edit - now I think I remember why didnt take the taillights out/metal strip. I think I just took off the whole support with the bumper still attached. If you do that I dont think you have to take that stuff off.
