if i get a 96+ civic ex coupe 5 spd white and drop it 2 inches, put a black widow front bumper, konig imagine 16's on it (black opal), a good system and aem short ram intake. how ricey is this?

Add altezza's and you'll hit 9's

 

hell no, no altezzas. replace with half red and half clear.
instead of short ram, make that cool air. make that 17x7 rims. konig doesnt make 16's

what basics can i do to engine?

Since you want an opinion I'll give you mine.

Don't go with just the front kit, get the whole kit, or a mitch match that will look good together. Just having the front on the kinda car you have will not look good and will be real cheesy in my opinion. I like the wheels .

But if you like the style, do it. Do what you like, it's your car and not ours. It's also your $$$ too use it wisely

It's not ricey in my opinion. Get the whole body kit like the others said. But why BW thats the most played out bodykit out there... I bet some people even think civics come from the factory with it.

the thing is, i dont want to get a full kit and not have an exhaust. it would look werid. but if i were to get a full kit, i was thinking about Buddy club sides, but dunno about rear.

what basic mods can i do to engin besides h/i/e? no exhause for sure and maybe headers if they dont scrape on the gound. Cool air or short ram intake not sure.

how about intank manifold?
vtech controller? would that help? (perforamce wise)

as what was said before. u could but an 18 foot wing on your car (although i wouldnt) . if you want to pay the $$. do whatever you wish. if you think it looks good and you like it. hey, whose to tell u no. its ur car, its ur money, until someone else decides to foot the bill. tell them to shut the **** up and sit down.

 

performance wise you aint gonna get anything out of bolt-ons. vtec controller? it aint worth the money if all you have is bolt-ons. and if you dont dyno tune the vtec controller i wouldnt **** wit it.

If it was my car I'd skip the body kit, etc and put all of the money otherwise earmarked for exterior mods and spend it under the hood instead. I'd rather have a car that looks ho-hum and halls *** rather than a flashy looking one with a body kit, etc that can't get out of its own way, esp. knowing that the ricers are going to come pouring out of the woodwork to race you when they find out you're slow. IMHO, save your money for a turbo, swap, or ideally, both. Just my $0.02 worth

But, yeah, I think the general consensus is to just to do whatever you think is cool, and screw the rest of us naysayers
