Hey there

I want to change the stereo system in my honda accord 2000 with a after market. I am hopeing to install an AMP,SUb,Speakers and Headunit.However Can anyone help me with regards to how to get the existing bose stero removed.Some instructions or tips would be appreciated.Plus any idea about the parcel shelf whether its fixed or can be removed? what size speakers fit in the rear and front doors.

you should try the audio/security/video forum. they will help you out more.

but you should be able to remove the whole thing, i believe it will be a double din, so you'll need a kit. As for the speakers, there probably 6x9's in the back and 6.5's in the front. but i don't know exactly because i don't have that car.

you can also go on http://www.crutchfield.com and fill in your car and it will tell you what will fit and if you buy from them it will tell you how to remove everything

wtf?

he/she is asking how to remove the stock accord stereo.

remove the battery cable from the negative terminal

1)take out the two bolts on the lowest part of the bezel

2)pry out the clock

3)remove the harness, and the screw behind it

4)pull the bezel out

5)remove the gold coloured bolts that holding down the radio

6)undo the harness

7)done
