2000 accord exhaust
i just got a magna flow muffler from my buddy and wasnted to get a catback exxhaust made.. what size piping should i get?? i has a 2000 accord 5 speed 2.3 litre I 4
I would stay within 2'' range. Like tsouyporta said anything more than that can result in a loss of power (2.1/4'' and above) and accord owners know that we cannot afford a loss in power
2 1/4 is fairly common. If you're getting the piping made at a muffler shop, then it'll most likely have crush bends, which will reduce the diameter anyways.
I have 2.5" piping with my Megan Racing cat-back. Most cat-backs come with 2.5" so I don't see whats the big difference between a quarter of an inch. Maybe a little low end torque loss but it seems to rev up faster through 4500+ rpms up to redline.
