My mechanic said that I have to buy an entire lower arm assymbely to fix my busted open lower ball joint. I searched here and some people are saying that a lbj from an acura legend will work. is this true? Also does this part just unbolt or do I need some special tools. Its currently -20 degrees air temp here and I can't afford to loose a couple of fingers trying to get the damn thing out if I need a special tool. Is there a write up anywhere, also?

 

I'm also doing this soon in fact a whole front end makeover, I think your mechanic doesn't know much about suspension because you don't nee the whole arm, you can exchange the lower ball joints, check this guy out worldsuspension in Ebay he's got all kind of prelude suspension parts
