Default Hard decision....? EK or SSBP GSR

Ok my brother recently totaled my 98 GSR. as you can see in my avatar. now i have an extremely hard decision to make either a 98 super sonic blue pearl integra GSR here's the site:

http://boston.craigslist.org/g....html

or any 96-98 civic hatch that i can find. I ended up keeping the totaled car and have about 6 k to spend on another car. FIRST OPTION: buy a 96-98 civic hatch and swap the totaled GSR motor into it and have money left over to start putting together my dream of a turbo GSR, and do also do a 99-00 front end conversion. don't forget that the GSR motor i have is extremely powerful for some reason....SECOND OPTION: spend $4900 on one of my dream cars the SSBP GSR and have only about 1 k left to put into the car.

I don't really see myself driving an EK but want one really bad so that i can do a GSR swap. but at the same time i love the look of the integra and LOVE the color also. Don't know what to do.....give me some advise....would you pick the highish mileage SSBP GSR or go with a hatch?

if the ssbp gsr is one of your "dream" cars then you will probably be more happy w/ that than an EK...so keep the 1000 you'll have left, part out the salvage teg, and put that money into boosting the ssbp gsr

Question do you really wanna do a project like with the EK in such a hurry w/swap/boost etc so fast you can't enjoy all the work put into it? IMO I like to stretch a project car over a few months time, for some reason I get more enjoyment outta it. GL

i like dc2 integras too, which is why i have one, but have you considered other cars besides the ek9? that gsr motor can go into many other cars as well.

ummm...i know the motor can go into other cars but i don't really want and eg cause my brother already has one, don't really want a coupe civic, don't want and ef or crx or a DA! i'm kind of picky i guess you can say. yes i do really like the body of the integra but i also like the look of the ek.
