Yes. I hate only being able to break the tires loose in 1st and 2nd just by stepping on the throttle.

I wouldn't agree with that. I have owned 5 turbo vehicles and continue to go back to na because lots of compression is fun

A little nitrous on top is even better.

X2 - I have had 4 different turbo Hondas, and now I am putting together an N/A build for my coupe. If I wanted a stupid fast car, I would boost it, I want a quick, fun, reliable car, so it's N/A for me. I always have my TransAm for when I want stupid fast

I cant' believe you went to both FI and NA forums and asked the opposite question. If that is what you are planning to base a decision off of, you are in for a shock as it will be the most biased responce from each forum you could get.

If you are having that much trouble, flip a coin.

WELL THINK LIKE THIS! that guy/gril who owns you as you put it think about it this way

boost makes **** drivers fast N/A is a make or break setup if your a good driver it will show weather you get beat or not there is no mistakes with N/A

with boost there is room for error like someone said or quoted here real men run N/A and that makes sense when you think about it because in N/A you can not mess up

Yeah but down the road when there car tosses a stock rod you can just laugh haha. Not only that but I went all to the extreme 700 whp drag car with everything. To tell you the truth it sucked soooo bad. Not fun at all (well beating 1000cc street bikes was fun) it just was too much to handle for anyone. So much power it would just torque steer you into the barrier or the guy beside you. Not only that if you want to go to the track so many new safety parts are needed for the cost alone its not worth it. Hell by the time you do your 10 point with a window net your car is not even comfortable to drive when you have it up.

So I am selling that car and just gonna build a mild na setup so I can actually have fun. Its all about just beating the crap out of a car and knowing you can just shut it off and turn it back on and nothing went to crap. I miss the more simple days I guess

You're still gonna have that problem with the "kids" with cheap domestics. If you're all about going fast in a straight line for cheap, the import crowd is not for you.

richard you usually have good points but plenty of boosted cars have good drivers, NA does not equal a good driver always. i doubt any of this has anything to do with being a real man. i have more hair on my chest and can grow a full beard as fast as lightning but if i boost im a girly?

easy tiger nobody said anything about monster power and drag racing, though you are correct for the most part regarding cost and comfort, however it sounds like your car was not set up properly, the hardest part about a drag car is making it go straight, once you have that down its all good.

not really 265whp ej hatch will own most anything on the street import or domestic, who the *** said anything about a straigt line or being cheap? spending money wisely on quality parts is not cheap. easy on that last comment son, ive been in the honda game for 7 years now, thats longer than a LARGE percentage of hondatech members.

Yeah I hate the fact when some guy rolld up next to me at a light and he thinks hes a bad *** cause of his turbo eclipse and then gets smoked by a metalic brown EF Sedan. Then hes mad and yells out his window. "Thats just cause its a swap under the hood!" I hate it even more when I pull him into a parking lot and he sees the little old 1.5

There's the reference to price right there. And did you mean being "beat" on a road course? Because I didn't see any indication to that in your post. Seemed like you were talking about drag racing or street racing(hopefully drag cause street racing is for dumbass punk kids). If thats the case, I could point out a bunch of things that would need to be addressed well before you even start thinking about the engine. You also must be facing some pretty weak domestics too. And don't try to talk down to me like I'm some sort of green noob "son". I had no malice in my post, so don't come back at me like some GDD punk looking for a flame war.

Anyways, I'm not about to get in the middle of a flame war over something so stupid. Do whatever you want, and have fun and be safe about it. It really just comes down to personal preference anyways. If you wanna go turbo, there's nothing any of us can say that will change your mind. Same thing for all motor. There really is no point to threads like this and they should all be locked right away.

Build the right NA set up and you will beat 90% of the turbo Honda's you come across that are out there.

Sure a highway race at 70 might be a different story than in the 1/4 mile, but who gives a expletive, if you want a highway racer buy a z06 or supra.

Plus my old built 1.8 is 10x more fun than any of my friends turbo Honda's.
