I'm looking for a JDM Gathers CD player for my integra to replace my old cd player. I know that the frequencies are different so some stations will not pick up, which dosen't matter anyway b/c I don't listen to the radio. If anybody has one or can locate one thats in excellent condition...I'll take it.

What exactly is so special about the Gathers CD player?

 

Its' jdm thats it. Nothing too special.


Look on ebay sometimes they are on there.

 

Well that and the fact that the AM/FM won't work in the US?

yea, I tried Ebay...but they don't have any. There's nothing really special about a few of the units, except a few have a nice OEM look. I don't know much about audio equipment, but I know I don't want a Sony Xplod(sp?)...b/c of the color scheme(theif attraction). Plus, I never listen to the radio...only CD's.

 

have you considered nakamichi? those can be had in amber or green illumination and look very stock.

 

I may consider the nakamichi, if I can't locate a Gathers unit.

 

 

 

bump for nakamichi. they look stock, they light up amber if thats your dig. and CDs SOUND GREAT IN THEM!!!!!
