did you make sure that everything you Converted was correctly done. and if you car was hard starting in the cold i highly doubt it is the WHOLE distributor. Ususally the only thing that goes wrong in the dizzy is the ignitor. if one of the pickups goes bad the ECU knows right away.

any ideas? I found a decent deal on a new dizzy (ebay). cheaper then a new ignitor. and i need to get my white one running asap. if my jdm dizzy is messed up then im just going to buy a new one.

so i put new rotor on my h23 dizzy put back on no code but still no fire. its like 31 deg out. so im guessing its the ignitor b/c it starts fine in warm. can ne one verify i wired the jdm dizzy right? im rdy to order a new dizzy if thats the case.

Yea, you can. a frind of mine did it with his h22 dizzy. Took the ignitor out of the one from the h23 that used to be in it.
