anyone know if the euro r intake manifold from ebay is the real one? i looked at the one on inlinefour.com and it looks the same. $150 cheaper.
150 isn't that cheap. when i bought mine NEW i paid close to 100. And i doubt its a fake, but a link to the ebay auction might help us to tell by the pictures.
Its real for sure. I ordered one a few weeks back and recieved it within 5 days. I was unsure also but sure enough its for real, and alot cheaper than most other places.

Doesnt the Euro R have to be modified a little to fit the Prelude? Or im a wrong? If this thing fits perfect i would think its not original.
Someone jump on this and buy it to verify. I have no money.

the euro r basically bolts on. Its that you have to have an iac adaptor plate for our 2 wire to fit where the euro rs 3 wire would go. also you use the injectors out of your car which have a shorter pintle. So you need to port out the intake around the injectors. and you need a custom bracket for the fuel rail.
It is a bolt on for the head but to make it work its a custom job.

Thats what im talking about, if you buy this manifold and you dont have to do any of that, you would know its a fake.

I'm pretty sure Blacktrax doesn't sell the Euro-R manifold, just a kit to fit Prelude fuel rails and 2-wire IAC.

i e-mail the seller on ebay and they said there are no modifications. you guys think he meant by the bolt ons only or is it fake? but other people up there said it's real.

you should have more info on this for our upcomers like me. since it seems like you done it before, give us some guides with step by step on how to do the swap.
I bought mine off that guy, its real and at a better price than anywhere else I've seen. Also H-motors sells them for $225, I wouldn't pay anymore than that.
THe ebay guy gets them from a wholesaler called SPW, look them up on here, they are legit. They import all sorts of parts as well as oem jdm parts.

I hate you all for not reading the faq where this information is. and for not searching on your own. I really should not need to put this link here.
P.S. I have never done the euro r swap but know everything about it. and you can too.

That price is damn cheap compared to what an OEM US intake manifold goes for new. If this is indeed a real Euro-R, i might want to throw one of these on my Type-S in the future....mmmm.
