Default Found water in spark plug tower

I was working on my car today and i was going to drive it for the first time since after the engine swap. I started the car up and idled fine and i let it warm up. after it warmed up I put it in reverse and it died. long story short....I pulled the spark plugs and in the number 4 cylinder spark plug tower there was water in it.

Im wondering if its a blown head gasket. It wasnt coolant in the cylinder, I smelt it and it smelled like hot water.

thanks

If it's in the spark plug tower and its clean water, then its water that made it around your spark plug boots and pooled down there.

more than likely water from when someone washed down the engine before you bought it..

blow it out with compressed air. I would probably change the plugs too because that plug may want to rust now. I actually would change the wires too because they aren't really supposed to let water get by.

Edit: and regardless that wire is probably going to corrode now that it has been all wet and ****.
