1990 honda ccord dx. i have two small dent on my passenger side door. one is right in the middle of the door the second one is one the edge of the door, to the left of the door handle.
my question is how do you guys usually deal with dents....
do you guys take it to the mechanics???
or do those "dent pullers" they sell on e-bay really work???

I've had really good success with those paintless dent removers, but it depends on the type of dent. If it's like a hardcore crease, well no duh, you can't pull that back into shape, but little dings you sure can
i took autobody and collision and depending on the size of the dent will tell whether the dent will come out. if you take it to repair at a body shop prepare to pay some money because they have to grind off your paint, use a shark dent puller that welds to the dent then they pull it out slowly. after it is complete they slap bondo aka body filler. let it sit. shave it off and sand it down to perfection. then its ready for prepping for paint.

that's the ultimate solution but alot of the door ding can be pull.
you'll be surprise how much swirl, scratches you can buff out with a good buffer
<--just spend like 3 hr doing this gf's vw

There are tools for "paintless dent repair", but you need to know how to work with them.
Sometimes, depending on the location, you could use the "suction cups" to pull them out, but the dent needs to be bid enough for the suction cup.
Sometimes, you could push them out from inside the panels.... say.... doors or fender or roof.
But as the guy mentioned above, that's the most common way of repairing a dent.
