Caliper piston not retracting fully?
1992 VX hatch,
Lastnight I installed some new brembo blank rotors with hawk HP+ pads (amazing combo, stops excellent now)
When I took the pads out I noticed the drivers side pad on the piston side was worn more than the passaner side (quite a bit)
So anyways I went ahead and instaled the pads/rotors,
and since the HP+ are a little noisy, at low speeds i can hear the drivers side squeaking when the brakes are fully released.
So im assuming its sticking, how can I go about fixing this?

usually erratic pad wear is due to one side being seized.
loosen the caliper and clean the slides, i preferably use Silicone grease. and make sure the pads are not stuck in position, they should be able to wiggle a little. otherwise clean the shims, lube with a little anti-seize. also check if the brake hose looks good.

Im assuming the shims are the small metal clips on either side?
And what are the slides, sorry, i have a basic idea of the parts on the caliper, im just not sure of their names.
