b-series tranny for accord
Ok I tried researching about this, I know ive seen this before
but cant find it.
I know that you can use a b series tranny on you H series engine.
And ive also heard that the h and f series trannies are swapable.
So it thats true then I should be able to put a b series tranny on my
f series accord.
Right?

Umm yes you can. Search H2B and you will find what you need. There is no kit to install one in an accord tho, nor prelude. The kit is designed for H swapped civics or tegs so they retain the better geared B series tranny.

you are correct, there is a H to B adaptor available. It's actually on the website as a F/H to B adaptor. the issue is the transmission mount. the kits are sold with a mount for the specific chassis and they are only really available for the civic/teg/crx. You would have to custom fab a tranny mount. not the end of the world.

Aahh, I remember when I was seemingly the only one in the Accord forum that ever heard about the Quartersports' H2B kit. Bisimoto's kit is actually a completely different kit from the H2B kit, but they do the same thing. I think Bisimoto's kit came out after Quartersports', but it doesn't matter.
Here's the link for Quartersports:

The B-series trans' gearing was only part of the reason the kit came into existance. If you read up on all the problems that existed when using H-series trannies in Civics/Integras, you'll also start to understand why using a B-series trans in an Accord would not be a good idea.

got a cliffs notes version of it?

When the Civic/Integra guys started doing H-series motor and trans swaps, the axle positioning was a little "off", which caused various problems with the axles (in some cases, the axles were popping out) and a quite a few cases of tranny failures due to increased stress from said positioning. Although not a constant problem, it was big enough problem to stop many people from doing the swap, and eventually enough to warrant making an adaptor kit for b- or d-series trannies.
From this, you can safely assume that the problems would be the same in the reverse situation. Granted, I've yet to see anyone even attempt to put a b- or d-series trans into an Accord.

I've had axle problems and they make life miserable.

So if i have a 5sp ex, what can I do as in upgrade? Do any f series trannies
come stock with lsd's? Or do you any h series trannies come stock with lsd's.
And I just want somebody to clarify this: you can put a h series tranny on a f motor
and the other way around; safely.

yes.
Ok well i gues I didnt do much homework, I didnt realize that the gearing was so differnat.
What im looking for is just something a little bit beafier, and a lsd.
I do need a little more power, I was thinking of doing a swap, but thats a
little to much work for now.
I need that vtec to kick in a little bit earlier, like at 4000 rpm's instead of 5,200
And maybe throw a turbo on there. I havnt really messed with accords yet, this is
my first one. So im not sure what works better.
Oh yeah I already have i/h/e, msd

VTEC engages no later than 3800 rpms on F-series motors (excluding S2000 motors)...
