Default Powerband and gearing question

Hi I did some calculations for the RPM landing on upshifts and this is what I found.

Gear Shift landing RPM@8000
1st N/A
2nd 5217
3rd 5698
4th 6049
5th 6424
6th 5724

Now when I look at stock dyno graphs, the powerband seems to be located from 6100-8000rpm. Does that mean we're falling out of our powerband and having to "climb" back up to our maximum acceleration? So with mods and tunning can I extend my powerband from say 5500 or earlier till 8000?

I had a RS integra before, I've spent countless hours reading but never really modified any cars. Finally got a new car with 3 cam lobes!! Can't wait till there's proper fuel management.

6k = i-vtec engagement which is probably why u see the "dip" and gains
On the tSx there was a SIGNIFICANT spike before vtec cross over

( in my opinion i always thought honda did that to make it feel that crossover was harder than it really was )

however, http://www.hondata.com has an ECU reflash that puts i-vtec at 4500
BUT is required to have MINIMUM of intake or exhaust.
