Default fuel cell

how hard would it be to run a fuel cell instead of stock fuel tank? id have to use an inline pump then im assuming. also is it legal to have a fuel cell for street use in a hatch. if batery was relocated to trunk how would this affect legalities thanks.

parts id need:
new lines
would stock fuel guage sender work in cell?
new pump in line

pff idk what else. how much does stock fuel tank weight

if you want to drive it daily, you would have to get a good sized fuel tank still.
you want a 5Gallon? 8 gallon?
Converting to a fuel cell is a bit costly in that it will require steel braid lines and fittings. Also an inline pump as well as filter. Its a cool idea but can cost a few hundred dollars to do correctly. to have it inside the car, like the CRX, you would need a certain fuel cell that would be legal at the race tracks.

I got a 24 litre alloy tank made up that mounts using the left (drivers side for you guys) strap only. I mounted a bosch motorsport fuel pump, surge tank and filter setup on the right side of the car where the rest of the stock tank used to live. This setup saved 15 lbs but cost $$$
