What I have is basically a complete longblock. It is a b18c1 out of a 1999 GSR sedan. I have never seen it run but I am sure it should be in perfect mechanical condition. I have had the motor sitting in my garage for over a year now and the person I bought it from did also so I am sure it cannot have that many miles at all. I can get pictures if needed just let me know anything you would like pictures of. I do have a few extras that I would like to include because with out the motor they do me no good. here is what i have:
-ARP head studs (brand new)
-STR block guard (brand new)
-water filled fuel pressuse gauge with fitting (brand new)
-high volume fuel rail (brand new)
-engine harness out of an eg i believe (basically all sensors and plugs match up)
The motor does not have an exhaust manifold or injectors. I wish I knew for sure that it runs but seeing as I personally never seen it run I am selling it as is but like i said it was not in the car for very long and was taken out of the car due to an accident and everything appears to be ok. I have not taken the head off, but i did take off the valve cover and everything appeared to be ok. If you have any questions let me know I should be checking back everyday so responses should be fast.

didnt you buy this block off of some guy in chicago last year... saying that it had a bad leakdown test?

yes i did but i had a friend leak down test it and he said that there were no leaks that he found so i figured the guy may have done it wrong. like i said I do not know but i trust my buddy and am pretty confident he didnt do it wrong. and either way the guy i bought it from said it leaked in the valves which means its only valve seals but i am more than happy to let anyone come perform a leak down test before they buy it if they dont trust me.

if the last person u bought it from said it leaked from the valves, then that would'nt be bad valve seals. valve seals only provide the valve stem from too much oil going into the ports in the head but enough to keep the valves lubbed. thats caused by a bent valves or misadjusted valve lash. a leakdown test can only test if the piston rings, head gasket or valves are leaking.

even if you are right the guy claimed it was from the exhaust side which isnt a concern unless its over 30% leakage which i am assuming it was no where near that considering when my friend did it there was no leakage.
