Default Transmission

I was told the Transmission Control Module was the reason why most of the time now my 1992 Honda Accord EX was stuck in 1st and 3rd or 2nd and 4th gear, but I bought a New Transmission Control Module and it's doing the same thing. When I put it in it ran fine the next day it was back doing the same thing, so what could be the proble now? PLEASE HELP!!!

how does a transmission get stuck in 2 gears at once? you need to be a little more descriptive about this problem

jumper the 2 pin connection then count the trans code 'D4' light flashes.

I'm paying good money for that webspace every month so you'd better check the link and repost here with a code!
To help you out some more; if you turn on the key the D4 light should come on as the system runs the internal check and then the light goes off.

I don't know.. it just does. It will be in park, but the light on the dash will show "D".
Any gear I move it to manually, that gear will light up and the "D" light will be lit.

The D light is usually a code, when your not in that gear, and something needs to be fixed. Listen to what Hondadude said please...

I jumpered the 2pin connection like the picture showed and the "Check Engine" and the"D4" light stayed solid. Does this tell you anything or do I need to try something else.
Thanks

If you turn the key on and the 'D' light stays on, it probably is a bad TCU.
The 'D' light should come on for about 2 seconds while the TCU runs a self check then turn off.
