i have a DOHC ZC in my car and when ever im takin off, the motor ALWAYS has a lil stutter at 1500RPM ... if any one has had this problem or knows what the problem is caused by could you please let me know thanks
Sounds like it may be a timing issue, but could be related to simple tune-up stuff like sp plugs/wires fuel filter etc. Check/replace these if you haven't already. If you have, I'd lean towards a timing issue.

yes, the car runs and drives near perfect except for this stutter thing and 1500 and it only does it at 1500 it like cuts out for a like a split second and continues to rev up fine after....... im clueless!!
I had the same exact problem when I first got my ZC. Turned out to be a distributor issue. Can't rememberwhat exactly, but I think my ignitor was starting to go bad. I ended up replacing the whole distributor, and the problem went away.
Good luck

the distributor is one weak link in all of these Honda engines - more so in the B-series than in the D-series - everybody i know with a JDM B16A carries a spare distributor at all times, and for good reason
