Default B16 SWAP

I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS. I JUST A FRONT CLIP FROM A 2000 CIVIC SI. IT HAS EVERY THING FOR THE SWAP(ENGINE,COMPLETE WIRE HARNESS,ECU). MY QUESTON IS.

THE COMPLETE WIRE HARNESS WILL IT WORK WITH NO PROBLEMS IN MY CRX?

PLEAS HELP ANY ADVICE WILL BE APPRICIATED!!

No it won't. Id suggest converting your existing harness to OBD2 (PITA) or downgrading the engine to OBD1 and running a OBD1 conversion harness (easier but still PITA). Search if you don't know what I'm talking about. If you have a DPFI model CRX you'll have to do the MPFI conversion as well, not to mention running wires for VTEC and the knock sensor.

In all, trying to just "plug n' play" stuff fram a car that is potentially 13 years newer than yours is no easy task. Just becuase it's another Honda doesn't make it a drop-in swap by any means. Good luck!

thanks for the advice!! i have the ecu for the b16 with all the wires connected still to the b16 and ecu for the 2000 civic si.

will i still have to convert the wire harness of my crx???

yea you might as well take that ecu and throw it off a bridge, you only need the engine tranny and axels, shift linkage is garbage for you too.
