What's so good about typr r suspension?

What makes them dfferent from any other suspension?

 

Simple answer: On an Integra Type R, the ITR suspension is finely tuned and balanced. On other vehicles, it probably won't be quite so perfect.

 

It took Honda two years to developed the TypeR from the base GSR. So, the spring rate and the shock dampening work harmony together which means no harsh ride like most after market parts and handle much better than the average OEM parts

 

Awesome control, perfect balance, and just the right amount of oversteer when you need it.

 

Its so finly tuned that if you make the vehicle lighter in any way it wont handle aswell. Its perfectly balanced. You would have to get a stiffer spring rate if you remove weight from the vehicle. Honda engineers suggest not doing anything to try and improve it unless you get it pro tuned.

 

Best handling FWD car ever to come out of an automotive factory. That said -you really have to get it past 7/10 before the benefits become obvious.
