obd0 b16a extra o2 bung on header???
im planing to put a 4-2-1 header on my b16 but i need to find out where to weld the extra o2 bung because dosnt one o2 read 2cyl's and the second o2 read the other 2cyl's? so dose it matter where i weld the extra o2?
Block that one off with an o2 bung bolt and just use the 2 up at the top that you get installed. I blocked off mine, it is only designed to work with 1 o2 sensor, thats why its after all 4 cylinder banks. Do it right or you wont be happy with the end result.

no. pre odb single wire O2 sensors do NOT have heating elements. which is why they are so close to the block. to learn more about why you cant just use one O2 sensor for obd0 (pre obd):

Pre-OBD I Engines
Early VTEC engines use two oxygen sensors arranged to read one cylinder pair per oxygen sensor. The mixture for each cylinder pair is tuned separately. It is important not to wire the sensors around the wrong way, otherwise one cylinder pair will run lean, and the other pair rich. It is also important not to wire one oxygen sensor into both sensor inputs, otherwise the engine will run either very lean or very rich.

1320 king please do not be confused. the number of O2 sensors depends on which electronics YOU decide to run.
If you have a b16a with a STOCK PRE OBD PR3 or PW0 you need 2 o2 sensors, mounted like in the pictures above. UNLESS you have it chipped or modified in some way.
1992 and up stuff uses a single O2 sensor low in the header, since they have a heating element and work differently in how they communicate with the ecu.

ok so are all the chipped pw0 ecu's single o2's or your saying theres a chip to run one o2?
because im planing on getting a chipped ecu at the same time as my header too and i dont want to have a ecu thats reading one o2 and i have 2 o2's on the header.
please no one get mad if im asking dumb questions but i just wana get it done right the first time...thanks!

If there is a point where cylinder banks 1+4 and 2+3 are separated and you put a bung after each of those banks, then yes. If not, you will get bad readings and your car will run like poo on a stick.

I just got it done last week for $30.</TD></TR></TABLE>
it is clearly that the o2 bung is on the runner and wont read both runners for one o2. does it really matter were u put the bungs on? I wonder where on a 4-1 one piece header....

when doing the obd0 b16 in a civic or crx , and using a header that comes with one o2 at the back, block it off, take and have two new bungs welded in on # 1 and 2 cylinders, wire them up correctly to the ecu and u will be ok, thats what i just did with my header and unfortunately it happened to be a hytech header but oh well it runs so much better now, if pics are needed i can supply them,. lemme know.
ill get a pic tomorrow, but when u do the swap it has 2 o2 sensors, your o2 coming originally from the ecu is moved to like a secondary o2, and u run a wire to the ecu and pin it in a location and it becomes your primary o2, or something of that nature, if you go on hasport.com they have some wiring instructions, but if i were u i would run both o2s. ill get some pics of the header tomorrow.
