i have been stumped between skunk2 lowerings springs and eibach...but i dont kow which works best....no one has mentioned skunk2 brand....any suggestions???

 

how many inch drop are you looking for? and how much $$$ are you willing to spend?

 

i was thinking of 2 or 2.5 inches...and maybe ..no more than 3 bills..

 

no more than 3 bills for shocks and springs? or just springs?

Also, your going to want to get aftermarket shocks/struts to handle the lower springs.

this is for an accord 99 lx...but i have trouble deciding with what springs to go for just the springs i think that shocks are still good..

 

you're gonna definitely need shocks if you lower that much cause the stock ones won't stand up to additional abuse a lowered car dishes out. they'll blow inside of 2 months. so even if you don't buy them now get your money together to buy them later.

 

yeah, even though they may be ok now, with the drop you want your going to blow them kinda quick, thats why I suggested you get a set of aftermarkets that can handle the abuse of the lower springs.

 

so eibach it is....i guess i can wait.

Eibach pro-kit, then get a set of koni's, done my 6 gen very well, great handeling and responsiveness + adjustable dampening

 

how good can you expect the handling to be once settled in?....with the schock and everything...and springs???
