Default Buying factory parts for your Teg from a Honda dealer.

I just really want to get an answer to my question, but I guess this can turn into a related question post if anything.

I have a B16 head on an LS block and need to swap the headgasket. Is there a Honda headgasket that I could use instead of the LS h/g from Acura ? Maybe the Head gasket from the CRV ?
(The reason is that I can get a better hookup at the Honda dealer than the Ack...

B20 headgasket = LS headgasket

*edit*umm yes......... I am almost certain that the B20 headgasket has the same diameter fire ring as the LS headgasket. But I'll be sure to check that out for you really soon.

Thanks Teken, I would've ordered from Mike K, but I didn't have the time for shipping or to pick it up as I need it today.
But I managed to get a good hook up at Acura and scored one this evening !! Woo Hoo !!

I only have 1 Acura stealership near me and like 12 Honda stealerships all within a 30-45 min drive, they all say that they can't sell Acura parts and that Acura cannot sell Honda parts even though when you buy your parts from the Acura stealership they all come with a HONDA STICKER ON THE PART!!!!!!!! Once in a while I can get a part to cross reference to a Honda part that isn't a stocked item by Honda so it has to be ordered anyway!!!!!!

I always get my parts from the local honda parts counter.

I usually get to wait a day, but they have never told me they couldnt' get something.

Now if you have an Acura Dealer in your town, that might be an agreement between the Dealerships.
