just wanted to know what yall would recommend as the best exhaust and intakes for the buck. im looking to spend around $300 on each and wanted to know the best combo. i was thinking just a cat-back for now and do the headers later. thanks

ebay intake...k&n filter

custom 2.5" piping for exhaust with your muffler of choice...(not from ebay)

 

yeah don't waste money on an intake pipe
you can find the pipe on ebay for like 20-30 bucks
then get the bpi flowstack and k&n.

best bang for buck exhaust is a custom
go to kteller.com
get the mandrel bends you need
get a resonator...range from 12"-22" depending on how quiet you want it
pick your muffler...straight through design for best performance
get a 2.5" highflow cat
get some 2.5" flex pipe
take all this to a local exhaust shop
have them weld it up to some 2.5" straight pipe

and you are right about the header.....save up for a custom
but for now when you go to the ehaust shop.....have them cut off the stock collector further back and weld on some 2.5" and a new o2 bung (this is why i included the new flex pipe)

you can also order flanges and gaskets to be welded on any pieces you want to be able to unbolt for easy removal later.......but the exhaust shop i went to had those as well
