Default Good Tires

Are Falken Ziex 512 good tires? I need them in size 195/50-15. I searched and it looks like kumho ecsta spt is better. Any other good budget performance tires out there?

What do you need, an All-Season or a Summer Tire? What are you looking to spend?

He's right. You need to decide which kind of tire you need. If you need to use these tires in snow and frigid cold as well as in moderate to warm temperatures, you need an all-season tire. The best all-seasons don't come in 195/50-15, so you may as well get the Falken Ziex ZE-512, which is not all that good, or another mediocre all-season like the Bridgestone G009 or the Kumho AST.

If you don't need to use them in snow and frigid cold, then you can use a summer tire, in which case the Kumho Ecsta SPT is an excellent choice for very good performance at a bargain price.

Find somewhere that will match the TireRack's price like Discount Tire/Americas Tire.

Look for a TireRack approved installer, most will be able to handle Lo-Pro tires and if they can't they it will say something on the list.
