Default Drag Car From The Woods, Help! 56k Dont think So

Well, My buddy just traded one of my other friends an old ford ranger for an 86 crx that he had sitting in the woods. They agreed on the trade without seeing either vehicle. So today they went and picked it up from out in the woods and this is what he got. The car was at one point in time a drag car it seems, we were told it is a built motor that was running a wet shot of nitrous. It def. has a cam and a set of springs they look brand new, and it has a dual valvespring setup. Also supposibly included are a racing clutch and flywheel, msd ignition, fuel pressure regulator, header, and some other misc crap, also drag slicks. Actually the car looks to be in very good shape, and the motor on the inside is imaculate. We are trying to get the car running, but it has not ecu or starter. I have access to alot of older honda parts and am wondering what kind of parts will fit it. That and were kind of wondering some of the specs on the engine and what this thing will run in the 1/4 so any input or info is appreciated- ps wtf kinda motor is it?

Sorry for the long *** post but here's some pics to make up for it-

well it would be easy to tell what lower end it has by simply looking next to the header and looking on the flat surface on the block at the casting stamp!

You will have to look on the head for castings but looks non-VTEC but not sure.

Looks like very very small throttle body opening almost like the carb is on the intake with a set of injectors too....looks really weird

thanks but no thanks man, the block doesnt have a casting plate, as most hondas do, nor any indentifying markings as far as we can see- I actually know alot about most honda's, but ive never seen one of these before- im guessing its an a20 but im not sure yet-

anyone else?

its a 86 si?
thats the stock motor, EW4 is the engine code, d15a3 is the earlier motor i think from the 85, same thing, I actually have one of these, my dad bought it for $500 and all it needed was a fuel pump.

It's the 12valve motor that came in that year Si from the factory. (You can see how many rockers there are...) Not sure what the engine code exactly is though. Seen many of those at the junkyard, I pulled a resistor box and injector clips and wiring off of one of those.

stock that motor doesnt make much horsepower at all. I would recommend a swap if you really like the car. I dont know if it would be worth the paint. Its all if you really like the car!

i did mention the motor has a fresh build on it right? the only reason it was parked was because of a broken starter and the guy had a kid?
