True story.

I use pure Carbon fiber cams myself and frees up a good deal of losses from the lighter weight.

They were made by Mugen, by hand.

Is this for a stockish B16? If so, I would suggest some type r cams with your stock gears. Can I ask what your budget is and if you can do any of the work yourself? Any access to a local dyno maybe??

I would do type r cams for now man, if you were to do anything larger I would highly reccommend valvetrain and thats goiong to put you above the 500 mark unless you buy something used. And instead of porting your head, I would look into buying a ls or B20 block and doing a ls/vtec. You can build a very reliable block for around the same price it would cost you for a good head job, and make more power with it too.

well i will be getting a new valve train and spring and retainers when i get the port done. i didnt mean all together i wanted to spend 500, i was just thinking around 500 just for the cams. So you think i should do a new block instead of the port and polish? Would the b16 head even mount to a b20 or ls/vtec?
