Intake differences? HF1 / HF2

Intake differences? HF1 / HF2
Just noticed that my friends 89 Si's intake is different than my 88 Si's intake. I also noticed that there is a stamp on the back of mine stating HF1 and his says HF2. So, what's the difference in them? Anything major?
