No they don't run through your stereo, the only thing that's going to be gone and you're going to lose use of is the audio control buttons on the steering wheel, and of course.... the stock stereo....

But along with the dash kit, you need a wiring harness for the aftermarket headunit, and an amp bypass harness if you're going to install an amp as well.

Yeah, the only time you'd need an amp bypass harness is if you're installing an aftermarket amp/subs. Just throwing it out there, just in case. You need it since in the stock setup, the amp is providing juice to all of the speakers.... and all the speakers are wired into the amp, rather than the headunit. You'd need to filter out the the power/ground, of the amp, and connect the speakers to the headunit to be able to use an aftermarket amp.

well i understood everything except where i highlighted it , well im getting ready to install my upgrade sound , now a bypass wire harness is a reg harness wire but for my specified car lol i saw that here

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-b...01727

but i was told by the website chat that its the same as an ordinary wire harness , it goes from the back of the amp which i belive is located under the center dash console to the back of the new stereo , which in this case for now i'll be putting a jvc kdavx2 now as for the dash kit i was looking at this one which already includes the wire harness to bypass the amp which is this one , http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...=true

now circuit city has the exact kit but minus the wire harness and the ant adaptor , so this is a good deal right and it has the same harness that i need for the bypass ?

now theirs also this one http://cgi.ebay.com/SCOSCHE-20...wItem

but it doesnt have the wires so my questions are that harness its the one from the dash kit included right??? so am i set this is all i need?
