HELP!!! How do i remove the pedal assembly off a 91 crx si?
ok heres the thing... i've searched but could not come up with anything. i was driving the other day and noticed my Clutch pedal was tweaked.. so when i got home, i went underneath to see why it was cocked.. as i look up, i noticed the weld for the Clutch arm broke
... anyways, i thought i would go ahead and try taking it off the car and see if i could get it fixed.. to my amazement, taking this piece of crap off was hard as hell... now this is what i've done so far...
1) took off 6 nuts
2) removed the clutch cable and throttle cable
3) removed the coter pin and other pin for the brake pedal
after doing all this, the whole assembly still does not seem to want to come out.. anyone have any suggestions? i was stuck on this for like 2 hrs and still could not get it off..
just to let you guys know what i saw when i looked up at my pedals...

bolt under the heater vent? i will have to check that.. this is pissing me off... the thing wiggles but wont come off..
There is one bolt, you have to look straight up and you will see a air duct, tear it out and you will see the bolt.

I too hate that bolt, but now i can change out a pedal assembly and install the new one in under 74 minutes. 74 minutes? CD playing the whole time.

I dunno why everyone hates the bitch pin so much. I guess I'm constantly pulling motors and **** that it slides in/out like a **** star inside jenna jameson.

Damn that bolt is that much of a bitch?? Ahhh damn... well after I get off work today, I am going to attempt to take it off.. Thanks for all the help guys. I need to get this piece of ish fixed before I get my transmission back in!
ok i see your point for the air ducts... i've been workin on it for about half an hour and im just puzzled on how to take the air ducts out without messing them up. there is no room for it to move around, so the people that didnt mess their air ducts up while taking them out, how did you guys do it?
my clucth peddle is doing the same thing, we tried to weld it in the car, but it only lasted about 2 months, to the junk yard i shall go!~

yeah , it was a bitch, and try not to catch the car on fire! but you could do a better job if it was out of the car, i think i am just gonna get a whole assembly, also i think it might be easier to get out if the dash was taken out.
yeah i was wondering that.. if i should take out the dash and the steering column in order to take out the pedal assembly. but i dont have the time to do all that so i figured i could change it by just takin off the nuts. i had no idea it would be this hard... im still trying to figure out how to take out these air ducts...
so just pry it out? ok... its a bitch getting it back in?? damn.. so its pobbile tho right? sorry about all the questions...
ahhh.... ok.. so there is no possible way to take out the assembly without lowering the steering column? i thought i could pull it off without messing with the dash and/or steering column.. and as far as putting it back in. its tough to do that? ahhh... this is such a pain
