Default fast question...and a lil story.

i was on the free way driving my 91 ex and my shifter wen all the way down does any one noe what the hell hapend?i had 2 hold it up just 2 make it home...any help would be good thanx..

Check and make sure all the bolts are in place.

your linkage probably came out or broke out of the rubber piece that holds it up, #18 in the pic

under the car where your shiftknob comes through the floor its held on by 2 bolts, i believe your gonna need a 12mm socket with extension and a 12mm box end to old the nut on the other side... I may be wrong, but i have installed a shift linkage before Jack up your car on the passenger side and you can see your linkage coming out of the tranny, its about a inch thick and 3 feet long

thanx... EL Vap133..2 more things..what are the names for 11,19,and ..27?..and can i get them in autozone..wait only one bolt holds this.27..

I do not think Autozone carries them, try your local dealer or a junkyard. Actually there are two bolts but the pic only shows one.

No "special" name but why not print this diagram out and take it with you? But first make sure that is what you are missing before you go out and buy the parts.

#18 I believe is called your shift linkage stabilizer bushing. And those would be the bolts and bracket that hold it on...try that but they will have a picture just like the one posted when you get there....ask to see it and tell em what you want

the part number for the bolts from the honda dealership is: 54308-SH3-000.
and bring a few bucks cuz they are like 5.50 each....
