hey guys i need some help

My wiper controler broke sorry if its the wrong term. I pulled the steering wheel and undid the 2 screws that hold the cover for the wiper control and ignition on the coloum but i cant get it to come aprt to acesss the wiper control arm.. I put it all back together as i needed to drive to work. Is there something im missing i will try again tomrrow can anyone help me out

If I get what your saying, you couldnt get the big black peices off, that covers it? It so, there is a big metal ring on the front of it that you have to take off also, it is right behind the steering wheel, you will see a groove where it fits in, just take a screw driver and pop it out.

 

ok thanks just the answer i needed i saw it but didnt want to break it. Also i have a dx and the new arm is a si i am guessing i will not be using one plug that is there for the rear wiper it will still work i hope. its FREZZING out not looking forward to this again lol.
