Well Im in the process of talking to a guy that might be making some CF engine dress parts. Right now just trying to gather info to see if there is a general interest to make a radiator cover and to make it worth while option for this guy to do the mold and everything else requiered for a CF part. He already has the manifold cover and plug cover that he sells. I am talking to him about doing the radiator cover and the surounding black plastic peices in the engine bay.

Post up if you might be interested depending on price.

I'm pretty sure you could sell the manifold and plug covers. I am interested as long as they don't look cheap. What prices are we looking at?

 

From what I have seen his stuff isnt low quality. Price is still up in the air.

also interested depending on price. find out how much its gonna run and then you'll know how many people will actually come through and pick it up. what other carbon fiber pieces does this guy make? anything for the interior? carbon fiber door inserts? or center consoles? would probably get scratched up evenutally but might look kinda nice for a while.

and when u say carbon fiber valve cover... im confused. are u talking about the entire valve cover? i have seen people paint em red or whatever color they choose, but can u actually replace the whole thing with carbon fiber? is that safe? not bashing whatsoever, just curious. i havent seen it done before thats why i ask

Just to clarify a bit. Post what parts you would be interested in getting!

The Manifold cover and plug covers are available but I have to talk to him about the manifold covers cause ours have a little hump on the left side, his doesnt. Maybe its for the RSX.

Right now I would like to see how many people are intersted in getting the radiator cover and possibly the surrounding plastic pieces of the engine bay in CF.
Need to maybe get 8 to 10 people so it is worth for him to make the pieces and the mold.

I know price is a big factor so I will talk to him tonight to see what he thinks the price would be. Manifold cover $149 and plug cover $99 so the radiator cover will be more.
