What struts to get with OEM springs? Need suggestions
1996 Accord DD but I'm not afraid of a stiff ride. I'm going to keep the stock springs on until... spring and buy a set of Eibach's. Looking for nice struts that will last. Lifetime warranty would be nice. I've been told AGX's but heard they only last about a year and warranty is voided if you drop the car over 1.5". Open for suggestions, thanks.
My front left spring is louder than my bed... and my radio. I don't care about installing them twice. Why lower the car in the winter... in Wisconsin? And I can't afford it, not an option.
wait then, buy them both same time and get the right stuff, If for example you get GC's for stock struts they won't work on say Koni Yellows, etc.
Unless you go generic stuff and it's completely transferable. My vote is to hold off on it, if it's just a spring gunking up steal one off of any 90-97 accord in a junk yard"?

Not sure, I know when I ordered my Koni Yellows I had to specify what I would be using them with, and I'm fairly sure it was the same for the Ground Controls.
KYB GR2 are not a bad ride,Tokico's I've got 0 experience with.
The FAQ up top has a zillion posts on the suspension, there's an awesome read on AccordinglyDone about it as well. They go over what does what (lowering wise/OEM replacement wise/etc)
I would suggest reading that

Sweet, thanks

eibach is under 1.5 inch.
let's break it down to you per requested
tokico hp: personally had them before and it was not very aggressively value for firmer spring, i would pass them.
tokico illumina: somepeople like them but alot of people hated it, notice there's some premature failure with some badge of the damper. i would skip this one also.
agx: very reasonably priced and they are pretty good, the adjustment is a plus but i doubt you will switch them back and forth everytime. Not a track ready damper by any means but they are perfect for streets. I really want to say they works better on lighter car(civic/teg) but i don't have any solid proof so i am not going to claim that.
gr2:stock replacment, cheaper too.
gabriel: might as well keep the leaky damper, they are that bad.
toni yellow: if you have the cash, they are bang for the buck
