Difference between US TypeR and JDM TypeR suspension??
Hi...
I was just wondering wut the difference is between the US and JDM "R" suspension.
my buddy might be buying a jdm setup, but i wanna know if something is missing from the setup up hes looking at, will that part be hard to find or will Us parts work....???

I dont know exactly what youre talking about..... the jdm rear sway is a mm thicker than its american counter part. As for springs and shocks...i think theyre the same..

You are talking about a 5lug conversion.... Yes sussy/knuckles/hubs usually are part of the deal..

Im not sure if you can call the front wheel bearings as apart of the suspension but the jdm ones are different. You can use a CRV, and I think the Accord front wheel bearing as a replacement though.

I'm not sure this is correct.
If memory serves me correctly, springheight is the same from USDM to JDM. The only difference being that the JDM front springs have a bit more springrate. The rears are the same.
Also, the rear swaybar is slightlyh larger and the rear upper control arm is different, as well.

here are some pics showing that they are different. as you can see from the first pic, the jdm itr front springs have 9 coils. the usdm front springs in the second pic have 10 coils
