I have just recently bought an f20a dohc--hoping to swap out my h23. Can someone help me with some knowledges about the swap...what do i need to do w/ the f20a or what needs to be brung over from h23 or what needs to be changed on the f20a in order for the swap to be complete??? Is everything a direct-bolt on as the guy says....?? I did a research but nothing much about the f20a dohc. What about the spark plugs--and oil filter?? are those two same???

Why are you replacing an H23 with an F20a?

 

The F20a is also DOHC and a direct replacment for the h23.

 

My h23 is burning oil kinda bad....getting it bored or re-work over the summer but as for now, all i could afford was the f20a dohc....since it was a direct replacement and nothing much has to be done, might as well go for it. What about the spark plugs and oil filter--are those the same as h23.????

Also what about the knock sensor??? anything special needed to be done w/ that???

 

What I know at the moment, you have to swap intake manifolds and distributors. But that is all I know about swapping between the two at the moment.
