It depends on what you are going to use it for:
Falken Azenis is legal for all classes in Solo II. Should last longer than the A032Rs, warm up quicker than the A032Rs, and cheaper.

A032Rs are legal for stock, SP, Prepared, Mod, and Street Mod. Only has an 80 tread wear, takes too long to warm up for autocross, loud on the highway. Should be a great track day tire.

well that about covers it all. I used AO32R last year, 9+ autox's an d atrackschool, plus 5000+ miles of street use.
Now I have Azenis. love 'em too, they are SO much cheaper for almost the same performance on the street. Now... track is another story, the AO32R will be much faster/stickier.

Over on the comp board, I'm hearing LOTS of good things about the BFG TA KD's. Cruise on over and check out some of their comments. I think I'm going to give them a try next.

I ended up getting the cheap Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s. I needed something with better traction in the rain.

If it didn't rain here then I would have got the Falkens.

LOL, the azenis is not loud at all compared to the A032R... that Advan tire is hella loud, much louder than the azenis and they also get louder with age! doh!

I don't really understand why people complain about the noise so much. It's a competition tire, and if you can't get over something small like road noise you probably wasted money on a tire you don't need. I love mine and I love my azenis. If you don't do any track time I would say they are a waste of money unless you don't drive your car very much and like just about the most grip you can get out of a semi street tire.

If your looking for tread life between the two and are on the street most of the time, go for the azenis.

i just got the falkens, there is a day/night difference from my old nittos. they GRAB like crazy!!! even after i hit some water into a turn. but another before me said something about the noise- i must agree w/ that, they're pretty loud-but that's something i can definately live with.

and for the price- you can't go wrong- i paid 65. each. (205 50 15)

If you are so worried about wet traction, why didnt you go with the S-03's? Those are a much better tire than the ecsta 712's in the dry or wet.

RAIN your worried about rain with azenis, They are really good tires in the rain and 100% better then the stock tires that came on the car.
As for snow??? I won't even try

Get the Azenis and you WILL be happy and for only 280.01 shipped to your house

I don't think the TOYO T1-S is quite up to par with the A032 for racetrack use.

Maybe you're thinking about the TOYO RA-1.

S-03 = $110 per tire
ECSTA = $60 per tire

Well I like 032 a LOT! Noise isn't a problem to me at all since my car is full of noise now anyway. They grip very well in autocross. So far no one I know use Toyo RA1 in auto-x. Most of them use Kumho or Advan. Also none of them use Azenis either. Well I don't know why.

Azenis are great for normal sports driving but when it comes to auto-x and lapping days, nothing can compare with 032, RA1, etc. Even my T1-S can't really handle it now, since the weather is getting hot.

LOL, read my response carefully, I never complained about the AO32R noise as if it were a bother to me, it is a pain when you roll in a gutted out hatchback, but I still would buy AO32R if they Azenis were never released. I do AO32R for theri durability, wet traction compare to other slicks, also the super-high grip and actually I get a kick out of the rather uncivilized characteristics of it when used as a street tire.

AO32R <--- the 'ultimate' street tire
Azenis <--- the best choice for anything other than serious competition racing

The Falken Azenis are not loud compared to other tires. The A032Rs are LOUD as are the A520s. Azenis are about as close to a competition tire you're going to get for the price.
